Course Description:

Preconceptions about tracking persons in both rural and urban areas have led to this important skill being dismissed in police work throughout the UK. When our trainers presented a course at the Swedish Police Academy, it received wide acclaim. Just as a suspect cannot move at the scene of a crime without leaving evidence, a missing person cannot travel without leaving clues or sign. Dog handlers & crime scene investigators have found the contents of this course to be of great help in their work.

Course Content:

The course is very practical & students should be prepared for long hours in the outdoors. The practical field work is scenario based and will tax the skills and powers of observation of the most experienced police and volunteer personnel. The training will involve an evening search to demonstrate the value of darkness in tracking & clue detection.
